Recruiting Consulting by Rick Wire, President of Dynamite Sports
Most parents believe the recruiting process starts during the junior year in high school. Nothing could be further from the truth. It’s best to start preparing, marketing your student-athlete, and taking unofficial visits as early as 9th grade. The sooner you get started, the more opportunities your student-athlete will potentially have and the easier it will be to find their comfort level.
Did you know that 70% of all athletic opportunities in college come from NCAA D-III, NAIA schools, and junior colleges? But you don’t want to waste valuable time without a PLAN.
Scheduling a “Consulting Session” with one of our Recruiting Specialists will help to maximize your opportunities and help your student-athlete achieve their academic and athletic goals for college, whatever they may be. During the session we help you create a sport-specific “Recruiting Plan” and teach you how to go after athletic scholarships and grant money. The session will cover four main areas – ACADEMICS, ATHLETICS, MARKETING & RECRUITING.
It all starts by having your student-athlete fill out and submit the “Student-Athlete Information Form” below. Once we receive the form, one of our recruiting specialists will contact you to answer any questions you may have and to schedule a 20 minute phone interview with your student-athlete.
After the interview, we will schedule the “Consulting Session” with you and your student-athlete.
The time to get started is NOW!
I was a student-athlete in the late eighties and early nineties. I had no idea how much the recruiting process had changed in the last twenty years. Rick started the one-on-one consulting process by having my daughter fill out a detailed questionnaire. Then he followed that with a conference call with my daughter to get to know her as a person, athlete, and a student. A few days later, my wife, daughter, and I met with Rick face to face. We left the consulting session with a thorough understanding of the process and a plan of action tailored to my daughter’s individual needs. I am confident that Rick’s approach will lead to my daughter finding the best possible college for her needs. Rick thank you for all your help.

The hour we spent with Rick Wire of Dynamite Sports was very helpful for both me and my son, Paul. It gave my son the opportunity to think about how he should plan for his future. The consultation made a BIG difference and made him think about a lot of things and what LIFE is really all about. I would recommend the consultation as much for the parents as athletes. It gave both of us a new outlook about what we both wanted out of life.
