Activities/Hobbies: Coaching my kids in basketball, baseball and football. Camping and fishing and staying in shape are some of my favorite hobbies.
Interests: Rotary club, coaching young people, PTA involvement and helping with the local chapter of Meals on Wheels.

Bio: John graduated from the University of Richmond in 1988 and received his Masters in Sport Management while coaching football at Richmond. While coaching for 4 years John had served as a Regional Director for ELITE Football Combines at the Virginia location. By 1992 John became an ELITE National Field Consultant (NFC); a position offered only to ELITE’s most accomplished Regional Directors. In 1999, after the ELITE Richmond combine was relocated to Baltimore, John was appointed ELITE’s Director of National Field Consultants. In this capacity, John oversees all recruiting and training of NFC staff members, and is responsible for data accuracy, drills precision and quality control at ELITE’s New Jersey, Baltimore and Atlanta combines. During that same period John served as a Branch Manager for Ted Lansing Corporation, a distributor of exterior building products in the Mid-Atlantic Region. From 2000 until 2005 John was a Regional Sales Manager for James Hardie Building Products, the leading manufacturer of fiber-cement exterior siding.
While assisting EFS, John has served as Staff Director for ELITE’s national crew that conducted four combines on behalf of the XFL In 2000. He also served in the same capacity when ELITE was tapped to conduct combines for the All American Football League in 2007.
In 2004, John was named Executive Vice President/Director of Combines for the National Athletic Testing System (NATS). NATS was program funded by the NFL and developed by the American Football Coaches association to foster uniform standards and practices for high school football combines. As NATS combine director, John worked directly with state high school coach associations and was responsible for quality control and field operations at all NATS combines.
John’s football career began in Long Island, New York at St. Dominic’s High School. Recruited out of high school, John played college football at the University of Richmond where he started at center for the Spiders.
John is a resident of Richmond, VA and has two children, Kayla and Nick.
