Bio:  I have been the Director of Athletics at Turpin High School for the past 14 years leading a program that is made up of roughly 65 coaches, 50 teams and 800 student-athletes. Before coming to Turpin I coached Women's College Basketball at Mt. St. Joseph, Miami, Fresno State and Dayton...a tough career to leave, for sure, but I have certainly landed in a great place! I have written articles for newspapers and magazines, presented at the National and Ohio Athletic Director Conferences and jointly worked to plan local seminars for high school athletic directors. I would like to thank the thousands of student-athletes, coaches, parents and athletic directors who have all played a role in fostering my passion for helping others. I am married to Kristine and we have 4 children. All are active in athletics, each with their own strengths and varied levels of competitive success. I have enjoyed watching them grow, and though difficult at times, learned to "turn them over" to the coach at hand. Sport is full of life lessons and these lessons can be learned at any age.
